During the print workshop Friday 06th December we made prints with two layers - orange and blue and from this created a book made of 8 images. This was helpful because it allowed us to see where colour really comes through and which areas needed improvement. For example I think we all felt that we could do with more blocks of colour for the first layer rather than just line work. It was nice to see the colours overlapping to create a green colour too. I am not a huge fan of screen printing as a process but it is always something to consider for a more polished outcome, I just struggle to get my head round it at the minute with thinking about layers of colour and trying to plan how something will come out without seeing it.
